IV at Pacific Lutheran University
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Pacific Lutheran University is a multiethnic, inter-denominational community seeking to be the hands and feet of Jesus on campus and in the city of Tacoma. Whether we are meeting in person or virtually, we can often be found laughing, studying scripture, talking about or eating yummy food, and figuring out what it means to follow Jesus in community at PLU.
Meet the Staff
Lindsey Roberts
After graduating from the University of Puget Sound, Lindsey served on staff with InterVarsity at both UPS and PLU. She loves to play outdoors, and currently she’s been mountain biking and climbing. As associate area director, Lindsey is deeply invested in Tacoma and what God is doing there: she oversees ministry to students and faculty in Tacoma, serving directly on campus at UPS and PLU, and creates justice programs for the Northwest.
Steven Ambo
Steven graduated from the University of Washington and has been on staff with InterVarsity for 14 years. He served for ten years in Oregon at Portland State University, Portland Community College, and Willamette University, then moved back to the Puget Sound, where he now lives with his spouse and children. This year, he is serving on campus at Pacific Lutheran University and is excited to work with student leaders to build Christ-centered community in partnership with the Holy Spirit.
